Democracy instead of cable TV

August 31st, 2006 by Nicholas Reville

We’re hearing from more and more people who are using Democracy Player to replace traditional TV. With 600 channels in the Channel Guide, making the switch gets better every day. Here’s an email we got to our MySpace account yesterday:

“I just moved to a new city for grad school, and I’m really broke. Broke enough not to get cable (also broke enough to have to borrow my generous/unwitting neighbor’s wifi). Democracy has become my new primary TV out of necessity, but I can’t imagine going back to having so little choice in what I see.”

I knew that MySpace page would come in handy. (be our friend!)

Seriously, I’ve not had cable, and the only TV i really watch is family guy and democracyplayer stuff.
