People have been requesting the ability to mark ‘unwatched’ videos as ‘watched’.
A Miro user, Tim C., submitted some code along with the following comment: “Just starting miro hacking, this is a feature I’ve been craving for a while so I’m pleased it was so simple to add ”
Our developers reviewed the code and it was rolled into the application in two days. Thanks for the feature addition, Tim!
We have a history of users submitting fixes and patches (especially for our Linux version), which is great. I just get extra-specially excited when we get user submitted features that are immediately visible and usable by everyone.
Try the watch/unwatch feature in our most recent nightly build
I think it would be great to post a big thanks with names of our code contributors, but I wasn’t able to readily obtain these names. This leads me to believe that we’re missing an opportunity to build a stronger volunteer development community — if you’ve submitted code patches for Miro or are thinking of getting involved, you should say hi.
In closing, I’d like to say THANKS to all the folks who have already submitted code to Miro!
