I wasn&#039;t saying that Vimeo is an ideal solution (although they have a nice looking site, it is not a particularly open service, as you point out). I was saying that more decentralization and interoperability (so that YouTube isn&#039;t the premiere spot to aggregate video) will make a video that has been taken down from the most popular video site more likely to be seen on a different site.</description>
